Amelie Egenolf AFABW Europe Chapter Director with the Church of Scientology of Zürich recently hosted a vibrant and inspiring art event that brought together artists, performers and public, in a shared celebration of creativity and social engagement. The event welcomed 33 visitors creating an intimate yet impactful atmosphere.
A key outcome of the event was the strong interest in continued artistic involvement.
Engagement extended beyond the exhibition space. Four Get High on Art Say no to Drugs coloring books were distributed to visitors, along with The Way to Happiness, helping to spread awareness and encourage participation.
Conversations around “Artists for a Better World” were especially fruitful, with artists expressing interest in becoming members.
The event also sparked internal momentum: Member Helga Farkas announced her intention to further support outreach efforts and expand the organization’s visibility and impact.
A diverse and high-quality artistic program enriched the experience.
Feri Arnold and Thomas Frei captivated the audience with a one-hour photo show accompanied by their original poetry.
Internationally acclaimed soprano Laura Ansaldi delivered a powerful and memorable performance, demonstrating the artistry that has earned her global recognition and numerous awards.
Musical contributions also included Kurt Wicki on saxophone and Beat Neurohr on flute, adding depth and atmosphere to the event.
Visual art played a central role throughout the day.
Franz Habermacher engaged visitors with a live painting session, while artists Amelie Egenolf, Andrea Amrein, Nelly Beck, Helga Farkas, and Alcindo Moreira presented a wide range of artworks, showcasing diverse styles and perspectives.
Overall, the Zürich art event successfully combined artistic excellence with community building and meaningful outreach. It not only celebrated creativity but also strengthened connections and inspired future collaboration.
