The Artists for a Better World (AFABW) Ghana Chapter, led by Edmond Ametordzi, organized two successful drug prevention outreach activities during the holiday season.
On December 15, the AFABW Ghana team visited communities in Sunyani and Kumasi, distributing 200 Drug-Free World booklets to individuals with a history of drug addiction, encouraging healthier, drug-free lifestyles.
On December 18, the chapter partnered with Comfort Sunflower International School, distributing another 200 The Truth About Drugs booklets. Students were encouraged to stay away from drugs and alcohol and focus on their education during the holiday break.
Teachers also expressed interest in sharing the educational materials with friends and family. The outreach was well received, and the school welcomed AFABW Ghana to return for further educational activities in 2026.
Through these initiatives, AFABW Ghana continues to promote drug prevention, education, and positive choices for a brighter future.
