The Gambia – October 2025 Update!

Our Gambia Chapter led by Fabakary Sanneh is having much success with arts and social betterment programs.

The chapter has proudly displayed their new AFABW Africa banner, while wearing t shirts with our logo on it.

For the past few months, they have done some key activities that include:

Children using the Get High on Art, Say no to Drugs coloring books that were donated by AFABW to get the message to create and not do drugs!

There were also 600 Truth about Drugs booklets distributed, and youth reading pages from the book and getting the message about the harm of drugs. This has led to less drug abuse!

In addition to that they have also gotten out 100 The Way to Happiness books, as well as 50 Human Rights books.

20 Communities have now joined in AFABW activities. The community elders and parents love the work of AFABW, and sessions have started with young people at schools and communities. They have also started using drawing for better world interventions at their localities.
