The Artists for a Better World (AFABW) Ghana Chapter, led by Edmund Ametortzi, participated in the Zongo Against Illicit Drug Program, organized by the Madina Municipal Assembly with support from the Ghana Police Service and a Member of Parliament.
The event brought together government representatives, local authorities, traditional chiefs, and community members to raise awareness about the dangers of illicit drug use among young people.
As part of its contribution, AFABW Ghana donated approximately 100 copies of “Get High on Art, Not on Drugs” and addressed attendees, encouraging youth to avoid drugs and embrace creativity and artistic expression as positive alternatives.
The chapter’s participation reinforced AFABW’s commitment to empowering young people and building healthier, drug-free communities through the arts.
