World Art Day 2025 in The Gambia
10 April 2025 marked the World Art Day celebration in Genieri village with the African Chapter in consultation with Artists for Better World International.
The event was comprised of dancing, singing, and coloring in the Get High to Art, Say No to Drugs books, and also reading The Way to Happiness books.
They distributed 100 coloring books, 50 The Way to Happiness books, and 25 Human Rights books.
SUCCESS STORIES:
*Kids have been realizing how bad drugs are and unfriending others that are into drugs and immoral activities.
*This activity plays a very important component in child development through active participation and involvement in creativity and moral discipline.
*It helps to reduce idleness and make children’s creativity and awareness increase their level of consciousness.
*Their parents really appreciate the whole social betterment activity and urge the Artists for Better World Africa Chapter coordinating body to reach far into the community.
*The school administration appreciated the move and wanted us to always go to the school for such activities.
*The African song by Artists for Better World International was real a lovely and appreciated song that was liked, and want us to share it often.
