This top Marketing business was transformed into an Art Gallery, and when guests arrived they were treated to beautiful displays adorning the venue. Meanwhile professional artist Angel Kourkoulou painted live, while LD Sledge performed a variety of music on the piano, which she created along with. At the same time there was a kids art table next to Angel where youth painted along with her. On the other side of the hall was new member Vanessa Crespi who creates art pieces with colorful moss and she taught some of the young attendees to make their own works. Our custom The Way to Happiness books were given out to new public too. Scott and Erica Muhammad from SEED Inc. (Students for Education and Economic Development) got ten of our books to give out to others, and want to work with AFABW.
Then at 2PM the Performers Showcase began. Fl Chapter Director Richel Lavette Lewis acknowledged the reception talent, and all the artists who had their works on display. MC Joanie Sigal kicked off the show with a song and then introduced AFABW Founder and event Producer Barbara Cordova, who gave an introduction to the group. The acts that followed included Carlos Pena, Steve Isaac, 10 year old singer Londyn Eddington, Dave Newey, and Barbara and Richel. Jackson Ailey from the Imagine Museum talked about this top museum and how they also host events for other artists and musicians.
The Grande Finale was a performance by Multi-Platinum Award-winning recording artist and songwriter – David Pomeranz. After uplifting the audience through song – he went into his seminar entitled “Increase Your Creativity” and did just that with his examples of how to be true to yourself, and expand your reach as an artist. He gave key quotes by L. Ron Hubbard that have been beneficial to him and that others could apply. The attendees were inspired and several got books that could help them in their lives and careers.
Some Feedback:
Regarding the seminar, “I Liked the idea that art is tone raising, getting rid of doubt of one’s creations and using PR to get others to see what I see.” – Erica Muhammad
“I liked the organization AFABW, the artists, singers and atmosphere.” – Elena Krasnokutskaya
“I felt extra inspired to sing more and do art. I do not particularly consider myself an artist but we all have a little artist in us.” Kim Steinman
