Sunday, April 21st, was the European Chapter celebration of World Art Day hosted by AFABW Europe Chapter Director, Amelie Monira Egenolf at the Organization of Scientology Zürich.
70 Attendees filled the intimate space and all were impressed with the amount of aesthetics and many made new friends.
Artists that came and embellished the space with their aesthetic art work included: Amelie Monira Egenolf, Carl Röhrig, Alcindo Moreira and Juraj Lipscher.
It started with Sunday service at 11am and a performance of Kurt Wicki on the saxophone.
Later at 2pm they had a seminar about photography with Juraj Lipscher who gave a lecture on Art based on the works of L. Ron Hubbard. He talked of the main differences between paintings and photography and then he gave some good examples of great photographs.
After the performance and the seminar they had cakes and coffee and tea and some good networking in the cantina. Carl Röhrig painted all the time live and sold several artworks and calendars. Amelie Monira Egenolf sold 7 art prints and Alcindo Moraira sold two Aquarells. In total they made about 2000 Swiss Franken and donated the money for the organization to use for expansion.
Then at 5pm Beat Neurohr performed on his flute.
All staff and public were very happy about the events and the good effects created.
Even Juraj Lipscher wants now to do more photography after a long break. He had inspiration again after his seminar.
Some Feedback:
“The artists brought a lot of joy in and we had a full house.”
“Juraj’s seminar was great and the musicians lifted the mood. Aesthetics are very close to the spiritual being. I would like to thank Amelie as the representative of Artists for a better world in Europe for the initiative.” — VS
